Tom was a band director for 20 years. His groups have received many state and regional championships as well as two appearances as a Bands of America national finalist. He now writes music and drill for marching bands throughout the country with many groups from his home state of Michigan. Tom is a graduate of Olivet College (MI) and Western Michigan University. He is the Music Coordinator for Marching Show Concepts, Inc. in Paducah, Kentucky. Tom is an active adjudicator, and is also a past president of the Michigan Competing Band Association and Michigan Color Guard Circuit.
